Proper training requires proper nutrition. Instead of turning to the next fad diet in hopes of reaching your goals, ask the expert. Caryn Kusleika is not only an endurance athlete and coach - she is a registered dietician and understands what athletes need before, during, and after their next race.

How to get started

Nutrition Counseling can be accessed in many ways:

  • Reach out to Caryn for individual goal setting and counseling sessions
  • Coached athletes will receive access to customized nutrition plans based on individual needs and requirements
  • Team Ironhawk members can participate in Ironhawk events, nutrition workshops, and have access to Caryn's expertise 

Nutrition Services

Assess and analyze dietary practices, body composition, and energy balance (intake and expenditure)

Counsel athletes on maximizing performance in general life, workouts and competition by focusing on the best nutrition strategies in the following areas:

  • General health and well-being
  • Weight loss or gain
  • Fueling during workouts/training
  • Fueling during competition
  • Pre/post workout and recovery

Daily meal tracking and evaluation

Provide personalized daily macronutrient meal plan for general health, workouts/training and during competition

Develop and counsel in hydration protocols

Additional services as needed:

  • Nutritional challenges to performance, such as food allergies
  • Optimal nutrition for recovery from illness or injury
  • Evaluation of nutritional supplements, including herbal supplements
  • Meal planning
  • Accountability
  • Emotional eating/mindset
